The Program Manager will be the operational "single hand to shake" for an enterprise Life Sciences customer building out a multi-technology Siemens solution over the next few years. This customer may be implementing elements of Siemens portfolio including medium/low voltage switchgear, building automation system including in critical environments, fire detection, lighting control, and energy performance monitoring systems (EPMS). The Program Manager will work across the different technologies and associated project managers to provide the customer with a streamlined operational approach to execution. In addition, the Program Manager has fiscal responsibility for all program facets, including project billing, job cost reporting, and overall customer satisfaction.
Note this is a remote position but travel to the customer location(s) in the Raleigh/Durham metropolitan area will be required.
As a Program Manager, you will:
- Lead full scope solution plan development on the most complex projects or programs
- Engage with sales and customer to develop program details, requirements and to establish key performance indicators
- Design strategic project/program opportunities
- Lead project/program management activities (defining scheduling, budget, risk, change, opportunity and resource management activities) for the most complex projects or programs
- Lead the technical review of system design and documentation
- Design continuous improvement opportunities
- Cultivate client relationship
- Be the single Point-of-Contact for customer; act as liaison between different Siemens groups (engineering & branch technical support) to ensure customer requirements are met
- Review project specifications, drawings and project-specific documents to establish project intent and their compliance with program requirements and expectations
- Assist in the solicitation and contracting of subcontractors as required
- Conduct an orientation for project technicians and provide all necessary project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, project contacts, etc.
- Track resources and project progress
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic qualifications:
- Associate degree
- Project management experience in the HVAC controls, fire, or electrical industry; 8+ years preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of HVAC industry applications; ability to read and understand MEP drawings and specifications, and electrical, network, and control wiring diagrams
- Knowledge of industry-standard communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, and BACnet
- Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
- 25% Travel Required

The pay range for this position is $82,320 - $141,120 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
