Position Mechanical Technician Location Romulus MI Company Information RLE INTERNATIONAL is one of the worlds leading engineering and consultation service providers to the international mobility and energy industries On the basis of our engineering development and methodological expertise we lay claim to thirty years of experience in creating innovative and effective solutions for our international customers RLE believes in providing excellence in Engineering Services; supporting our customers in developing mobility solutions around the world Locations in Europe North America Australia India and China allow us to remain close to our customers Our 2100 employees play an active role in shaping the future of our company by continuously increasing their personal and technical development RLE International USA is currently looking for a mechanical technician to work on the build of a series of prototype vehicles at our workshop facility in Romulus MI Position Description An overall appreciation for the whole vehicle including any past history of chassis component assembly and installation and general vehicle assembly would be advantageous The key areas which the mechanical technician would be working on would include the removal and installation of vehicle componentsQualifications Vehicle disassembly and assembly powertrain exterior interiorManage parts inventory and accurately execute Build SheetsCommunication with team and customer Provide own tools and work with minimum instructionTroubleshoot vehicle wiringTear down and rebuild of complete vehicle assembliesSteering and Suspension installationBrake line re build and installationVacuum and refill AC systems Drain fill and bleed coolant systems Physical Requirements Continuous standing walking bendingRepetitive lifting up to 35lbsOccasional lifting to 75lbs
