Maintenance Electrician Precast Concrete Manufacturing

This position is full-time. On-site at our campus in the Port of Tacoma. We are looking for someone who has experience as an electrician in the manufacturing/industrial field. Residential electricians need not apply.

Concrete Technology Corporation (CTC), founded in 1951, operates on a 30-acre site in the Port of Tacoma with extensive production facilities, fabrication shops, and shipping by truck, rail, and barge. Our projects span the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, and were proud to hold the world record for the longest single-piece pretensioned girder transported by truck.

This role will focus on maintaining and repairing electrical systems across our large-scale manufacturing facility. Youll work with electrical distribution, production equipment, cranes, curing systems, and our concrete batch plant to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Maintenance Electrician Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair electrical and control systems for equipment and facilities
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical issues
  • Install and upgrade electrical components
  • Calibrate equipment to meet specifications
  • Maintain accurate repair and service records
  • Track and restock electrical supplies and spare parts
  • Respond to emergency and unscheduled repairs
  • Support other maintenance tasks as needed
  • Ensure compliance with WISHA/OSHA, NEC, and company safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Maintenance Electrician Background:

  • Industrial electrical experience required
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
  • Residing in or planning to relocate to Washington State
  • Willing to undergo drug testing under DFWA guidelines
  • Must be clean-shaven and able to wear a respirator when required
  • Flexible to work indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions, with a variable schedule that may include overtime, up to two Saturdays per month, and occasional Sundays
