Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Superintendent with expertise in concrete, sitework, and masonry to oversee field operations and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills to manage crews, subcontractors, and project timelines effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily field activities for concrete, sitework, and masonry scopes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage schedules, materials, equipment, and labor to meet project milestones.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, timecards, and progress photos.
  • Lead and motivate field crews to achieve productivity and quality goals.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in concrete, sitework, and masonry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and project specifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Work Environment

The role requires 5 days on-site work across multiple projects. The company is a growing family-owned concrete, masonry, and sitework subcontractor located in Passaic County.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $62.50/hr.
