Commercial Construction Superintendent

We are extremely busy and need to hire an experienced construction superintendent for immediate hire. Superintendent will oversee the total construction effort to ensure the project is built in accordance with design, budget and schedule.

We have been in business for 29 years. Most of our Superintendents have been with us for 15+ years. We offer competitive pay and our typical schedule is Mon-Fri 8:00 - 5:00.

EXPERINCE is a must. 3 years+ Full buildings and T.I.'s

Manage company laborers assigned to your job.

Scheduling/coordinating of man-power, materials, equipment, etc.

Identify schedule critical path, milestones, and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedule on a weekly basis.

Responsible for the quality of work in cooperation with job safety.

Ensure that all subcontractors maintain schedule.

Direct all Subcontractors; coordinate vendor deliveries.

Ensure that layout of building/site is done properly.

Attend and represent company in applicable meetings i.e. pre-construction meeting, progress meeting, etc.

Coordinates inspections with contracted agencies and city officials.

Follow close-out procedures; ensure that punch list is completed

Project documentation including rfi's, schedules, change orders, photos, meeting notes, etc.

EXPERINCE is a must. 3 years+ knowledge of ground-up buildings and T.I.'s

Experience with projects up to $5M a plus.

Must be able to read architect plans, specifications, contracts, subcontracts, addenda, etc.

Computer, tablet and smartphone literate.

Valid Drivers License, as you will be given a company vehicle.

Maintain good relations and communications with all involved with project.
