This position will be located in Colville, WA and will support operations for two manufacturing facilities.
The company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Technician I to join our team. This position is full-time, non-exempt, $17.66/hr - $29.35/hr. Compensation includes medical/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) plan with employer matching contribution, life insurance, employee assistance program, and training opportunities. Regular shifts are Monday - Friday with overtime as needed. Day shift hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and swing shift hours are 2:15 pm to 10:45 pm.
Responsibilities Include:
Assemble / install industrial control panels using hand and power tools
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics and recognize components
Assemble electro-mechanical components with interconnected wiring
Cut, strip, bend and mount wires to connect electrical components within the control panel
Document modifications or as-built conditions on drawings
Test continuity of circuits in electrical wiring
Work with low voltage electricity and electrical components
Work with Engineering staff to help improve quality and efficiency
General manufacturing and assembly duties will be assigned as necessary
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
General mechanical capability
Detail oriented and organized
Familiarity operating a wide variety of hand and power tools
Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors and peers
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Focus on accuracy, quality, safety, timeliness, and continuous improvement
Physical Demands: (S=Seldom 0-10%, O=Occasional 11-33%, F=Frequent 34-66%, C=Constant 67-100%)
