Transport Refrigeration Technician

Transport Refrigeration Road Service Technicians needed in North Haledon, NJ and New Hampton, NY . Previous Transport Refrigeration Experience Necessary Pay based on experience and overtime available Job Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and maintain transport refrigeration units (Carrier, Thermo King, etc.) on trucks, trailers, and other vehicles. Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to refrigeration systems. Repair or replace defective components, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatch, and fleet managers regarding maintenance needs. Qualifications: Experience with Thermo King and/or Carrier units. Skills: Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in refrigeration and electrical systems. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
