Independent Contractor Needed - Property Tasks & Light Repairs compensation: $30 per completed task We're looking for dependable independent contractors to assist with property inspections, light maintenance, and related tasks across the Chicago, IL. This is a flexible role, ideal for self-startersbut consistent availability during assigned windows is essential, especially during peak periods at the start and end of each month. What You'll Be Doing: Use a smartphone app to conduct property inspections, complete detailed forms, take photos, and record videos. Pick up keys and supplies from client offices and deliver them to designated properties. Install lockboxes at specified locations, following instructions and documenting the setup with photos/videos. Perform light maintenance: retrieve items from storage, deliver furnishings, repair furniture, and help prepare units for guest arrivals. Compensation: $30 per inspection (~1 hour): Includes form completion, lockbox setup, and documentation. $10 per lockbox placement: Secure and install as directed. $10 per key pick-up: Collect and deliver keys. $30/hour for maintenance work: Includes furniture repair, deliveries, and unit prep. What You'll Need: Flexible schedule with reliable availabilityespecially during high-volume times (start/end of month). Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to showing up when scheduled. A dependable vehicle with valid registration and insurance. Comfort using smartphone apps for reporting and documentation. Attention to detail, solid communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs when needed.
