Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy. Employees | Value | Execution | Relationship JOB SUMMARY Prepares design materials for basic design assignments. This includes basic analysis, design calculations, equipment research, and sketches required to prepare documents, specifications drawings or to meet other requirements. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Four-year engineering degree, preferably BSME or equivalent experience 5-10 years' experience in an engineering role, Hydraulics systems experience is desirable but not required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience entering BOM into ERP is desirable Hydraulics systems experience is desirable but not required KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and complete projects on schedule Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others. Experience working in 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor preferred), and Mechanical Design JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Develop familiarity with design standards, applicable engineering codes and company policies. Receives specific and detailed instructions in carrying out our required tasks. Apply standard practices and techniques in analyzing data and results and recognize practical solutions to basic engineering problems. Prepare basic design sketches for drafting and incorporate into design criteria. May coordinate design with other personnel working on the same project to minimize design conflicts. Develop preliminary layouts. May be assigned to coordinate engineering & design activities with manufacturing personnel. Review manufacturer's drawings with respect to company's design criteria. Maintain engineering records and lists as required by corporate, client, and department necessity. Perform additional duties as assigned.
