Site Construction Laborer Job Description We are seeking skilled laborers to join our team for new construction projects focused on utility and site development. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in large construction projects, ranging from new retail to utility site construction. Responsibilities Assist with excavation, trenching, and site preparation for utility installations. Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment. Operate basic hand and power tools safely. Support pipefitters, electricians, and heavy equipment operators as needed. Perform backfilling, compacting, and grading to restore work areas. Install and maintain temporary structures, such as barricades and safety signage. Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean, hazard-free work environment. Assist in final site cleanup and preparation for inspections. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years experience working as a construction laborer on road, site, civil, and utility construction projects. Experience with site construction, utility construction, sewer systems, and pipe laying. OSHA 10 certification. Ability to lift materials weighing up to 50-100 lbs regularly. Basic knowledge of construction tools and techniques. Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in construction or utility work is preferred. Ability to work in various weather conditions.
