About the Role
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Administrator Construction Manager to oversee critical Outside Plant (OSP) construction activities in the aerospace andmunications infrastructure sector. This role ensures that contractor work meets quality standards, projects arepleted on time and within budget, and all operationsply with state, local, andpany requirements. You will play a vital role in building and maintaining digital infrastructure that empowers connectivity and drives innovation.
What You'll Do
Oversee OSP construction activities to ensurepliance with standards, design specifications, and budget requirements.
Coordinate with state and local municipalities, utilities, and cross-functional internal teams.
Conduct pre- and post-construction inspections and attend pre-construction meetings.
Manage permitting requirements, including Work Zone Protection (WZP) and Traffic Control Plans (TCP).
Oversee project scheduling to meet timelines and deliverables.
Manage project expenditures, materials, and accurate documentation (as-builts, invoicing, and timesheets).
Investigate and report plant damages.
Collaborate with departments such as Logistics, Engineering, Project Management, and Operations to ensure project success.
Required Qualifications
Strong knowledge of OSP construction standards, practices, and safetypliance.
Minimum 5 years ofbined OSP construction and splicing experience.
Familiarity with OSP unit descriptions and SSP contracts.
Strong verbal and writtenmunication skills for coordination across municipalities and internal teams.
Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, perform extended driving, and lift moderately heavy objects.
Flexibility to work overtime, nights, weekends, and periodic on-call shifts.
Willingness to travel overnight when necessary.
Valid driver's license required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cross-functional collaboration in large-scale construction or telmunications projects.
Strong record-keeping and reporting abilities with attention to detail.
