Aerotek is hiring Mechanical/Electrical Technician's! 1st & 2nd shift - Starting pay $22.51/hr! Job Description We are seeking a skilled Mechanical/Electrical Technician to efficiently interpret work instructions and assemble components for industrial machinery using blueprints, sketches, and other authorized documents. Join our team to contribute to building state-of-the-art machinery. Responsibilities Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and sketches for component assembly. Perform electromechanical and mechanical assembly with precision. Conduct mechanical and electrical testing. Handle wiring and panel wiring tasks. Safely operate tack welders and stud guns. Maintain accurate daily labor reports. Identify major components, gauges, solenoids, valves, and fittings. Lay out work by measuring and marking dimensions as per drawings. Safely operate fork trucks, hand trucks, and rigging equipment. Prepare and assemble pumping system skids and cut water hosing to length. Cut, bend, and attach flexi-bar from VRT to power feedthroughs. Essential Skills Mechanical and electrical aptitude. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics. Experience with electromechanical assembly and mechanical assembly. Familiarity with panel wiring and mounting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with mechanical and electrical testing. Ability to operate tack welders, stud guns, and rigging equipment. Capability to manage accurate daily labor reports. Why Work Here? Operate within a unionized setting, collaborating with a small team. Shifts include 1st shift (6:00 am to 4:30 pm) and 2nd shift (4:30 pm to 3:00 am), with potential shift premiums for full-time employees. Training on 1st shift is common, and shifts may change based on union seniority rules. Work schedule runs Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday hours. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.51 - $22.51/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
