Job Title: Electrician

Department: Base Operations

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our Base Operations team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship and safety. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in a variety of settings across the base, ensuring all work is compliant with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, conduits, and equipment.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including circuit overloads, short circuits, and ground faults.

Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify and correct potential hazards or code violations.

Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute projects accurately.

Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical work adheres to company policies, safety protocols, and local, state, and national electrical codes, including the NEC.

Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections.

Desired Qualifications:

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or vocational training is highly preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a journeyman electrician or in a similar role.

Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment. Proficient in using a variety of electrical tools and diagnostic equipment.

Licensure: A valid state electrician's license is required.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights on ladders and lifts, and navigate confined spaces.
