Welder

Applying weld using various method and technique with or without automated equipment Layout and fit up of materials for production Moving materials, with or without lifting equipment Responsible for maintaining housekeeping of work facilities Grinding parts and pieces for production Safe operation of equipment Responsible for ensuring the adherence to all company safety and OSHA regulations. Must maintain a thorough knowledge of company Quality Assurance and Safety Manuals. The ability to work overtime Performs non-essential duties as needed Physical Demands: Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds. Job requires excessive amounts of climbing, pulling, pushing, crawling, bending and stooping, etc. Must be able to tolerate loud noises. May require overtime and weekend work. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Pass CBSS Weld Test Must be able to read and communicate effectively in the English language. Must have the ability to effectively read a shop drawing, tape measure, and work in fractions. Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the steel fabrication industry Preferred: Hands-on experience and mechanical knowledge Previous Welding Experience
