Structural Steel Fabricator/Welder Full-Time (Union Position)

North Shore Neon Sign, LLC, located in Deer Park, NY, is a proud union shop and a leading NYC-based sign company specializing in the design, fabrication, and installation of custom signage and structural support systems. We are currently hiring an experienced Structural Steel Fabricator/Welder with 5+ years of experience in structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication, with a focus on sign structures.

Job Responsibilities:
Fabricate structural steel components using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
Work from blueprints, shop drawings, and detailed specifications
Cut, grind, fit, and assemble steel parts using appropriate tools and equipment
Safely operate saws, shears, presses, and overhead cranes and hoists
Load and unload steel materials and prepare finished products for delivery
Occasionally assist with field installation of steel components as needed

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in structural steel fabrication and welding
Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural and architectural drawings
Strong knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick) and metalworking tools
Experience working with carbon steel and aluminum
Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
OSHA 10/30 certifications and welding certifications (AWS a plus)
Valid drivers license; CDL and rigging experience a plus
