Civil Engineer

Job Description:

• We are seeking a licensed, skilled, and motivated Civil Professional Engineer (PE) to join our team.

• Must have an active State of Utah Professional Engineer License.

• The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in civil engineering principles and be adept at utilizing various engineering software tools.

• This role involves working on diverse projects, from infrastructure development to environmental engineering, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards while delivering high-quality results.

• Prepare roadway, grading, drainage, water, and sewer plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

• Assist in developing procedures, systems, and methods for project delivery.

• Development of project work plans and scopes of work.

• Produce project deliverables including technical memoranda, design plans and specifications, and technical reports.

• Prepare supporting calculations, construction specifications, and permitting in various jurisdictions.

• Prepare construction cost models and engineer opinion of probable cost for projects through various stages of development including due diligence to final construction document submittal for bidding.

• Manage and design development and redevelopment projects for private clients.

• Construction Observation and Coordination with Construction Contractors.

Qualifications:

• Active Professional Engineer License in the State of Utah.

• 5+ years of professional experience in engineering.

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

• Strong skills using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Willing to assist with business development and marketing in Southern Utah.

• Experience with drainage and utility reports.
