Job Description The Construction Engineer will support the Construction Project Manager, Project Manager, Site Manager, and/or the Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) Project Manager or Program Manager. You will assist with the day-to-day management of project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, procurement, proposals, estimates, documentation, turnover, client interface, field-based activities, and other tasks required to execute Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) projects, construction management, and program management ventures. Responsibilities
- Assist in managing project safety, quality, and schedule.
- Oversee cost control, contracts, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage procurement processes.
- Support in preparing proposals, estimates, and documentation.
- Facilitate project turnover and client interface.
- Engage in field-based activities to ensure project execution.
- Utilize construction management and project management skills to support project objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant construction experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage large volumes of work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience as a Field Engineer with Power Generation is highly desirable.
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Experience in industries such as aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transmission & distribution, transportation, or water is preferred.
- Ability to meet the company's driving requirements.
