Position: Skilled Painter Construction

We are currently seeking a Skilled Painter to join our growing team in Elk Grove, CA. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for a professional painter with experience in the construction industry, capable of delivering high-quality interior and exterior finishes on new builds and renovations.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in working on active construction sites, understand the sequencing of trades, and possess a strong eye for detail. Youll be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying various coatings, and contributing to the overall quality and appearance of our completed buildings.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming

Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, trim, doors, exteriors, and specialty areas

Tape, mask, and cover adjacent surfaces to protect from overspray or drips

Operate sprayers, rollers, and brushes with proper technique

Follow project specifications and ensure color matching and clean finishes

Inspect work for quality and make necessary touch-ups

Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to jobsite safety protocols

Work efficiently with other trades and meet project deadlines

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of professional painting experience in construction

Skilled in surface prep, patching, priming, and both brush and spray applications

Familiarity with a variety of coatings and finishes (latex, enamel, elastomeric, epoxy, etc.)

Experience working on ladders, scaffolding, and lift equipment

Ability to read plans, finish schedules, and communicate with superintendents

Reliable transportation and punctual work ethic

Must provide own basic painting tools (larger equipment provided)

Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and PPE usage

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required

Compensation
