Organization Description:

We are a small but growing firm of two people located in downtown Vancouver, with Low and Mid rise residential multi-family, Commercial, Industrial & Mixed-use Projects. We are looking for a team player with exception BC building code knowledge, excellent organizational skills, graphic sense, and a passion for design & construction detailing. Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Junior Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of building technology, construction detailing, and the preparation of working drawings. You will work on projects from design development through to completion, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to the BC Building Code.

Qualifications:

Registered with the AIBC
3+ years of experience working in an architectural firm in British Columbia.
Strong knowledge of the BC Building Code, including Parts 9 and 3
Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Sketch Up is an asset.
Excellent technical skills in concrete, steel, and wood construction documentation
Experience in commercial, multi-family, and mixed-use buildings.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Participate in contract administration and project management.
