Experienced Welder. This is a full time welding position that requires fabricating and welding hoods frames and towers. Other fabricating and welding may be required as needed. Occasionally field service welding is required. Job hours will vary depending on the season and temperatures. Welding will be performed in a shop environment and occasionally in an outdoors environment.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Weld 35' steel wind machine towers
• Fabricate and weld engine covers
• Fabricate and weld ladders for towers
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs, bending, squatting, lifting and standing for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
• Physical examination is required in order to demonstrate the ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Work overtime when required.
• Additional job assignments may be required as per the shop supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Welding certification
• Minimum of 2 years of production welding experience.
• Ability to read tape measures, micrometer and gauges.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabricate from those prints
• Good mathematic skills and problem-solving skills
• Able to operate a forklift, crane and other shop equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Able to work with other employees and adapt to a shop environment.

Pay Range:

17.60 - 26.40
