Immediate "Helper" position available. looking for a long term hire.
Ideally looking for someone with some experience in construction and hopefully at least two years painting experience, but this job entails assisting with "all" phases of residential construction. This is a small company, so no one specializes in only one trade.
If you are interested in only doing carpentry.... or only doing painting....this is not the job for you.
Excellent opportunity to learn or add to your skill set. Every day we work on different types of construction. No specialty.
Must be very physically fit, and skill level will affect rate of pay,
MUST have a reliable vehicle. Jobsites are often too remote to rely on mass transit.
MUST speak English.
This is a small, high-end company, in business over 40 years. Always busy, year-round.
Majority of work is in Westchester County, with occasional projects in NYC.
Looking for individuals that take pride in their work and are interested in all different types of construction.
Painting experience is quite helpful since almost every project entails some form of painting....but depending on the project, more than half the work could be general labor.
Kitchens, Bathrooms, Cabinet Making, Floors, Masonry, Decks, Tile, Drywall, Plaster and Painting. Windows, Doors, Siding, Moldings, etc. ....Interior and Exterior.
