Renovation Carpenter & Site Supervisor

We are a small but growing renovation company that works on residential, government, and company owned projects of all sizes, primarily in Vancouver. We are looking for a renovation carpenter that can also act as a site supervisor for small to medium sized projects.

This role will work on the tools, but also oversee site activities, scheduling, coordinating trades, and some client contact.

Duties:
Framing, finishing work, door/window install, demolition
Sourcing and ordering of products/materials (picking up materials when needed)
Pricing of products/occasional estimating
General duties such as spot patching drywall/repair, install of mirrors/fixtures, and other items involved in deficiencies
Acting as a liaison for site

Qualifications:
*Minimum 2 years general renovation experience, and 1 year carpentry and finishing work
*An attention to detail, and pride in work
*Have a reliable vehicle
*Have a valid BC Drivers license
*Like a fast pace, and able to be at multiple jobs in a day if needed
*Can work alone or with others
*Professional appearance and demeanor
*Comfortable dealing with clients

Basic general knowledge/awareness of BC building codes/Vancouver Building Bylaws an asset
