Construction Laborer - Paving Job Description We are currently seeking skilled paving laborers with at least 1 to 2 years of experience. The role involves working on paving projects for commercial properties and non-highway roadways. You will start your day meeting at the office in Gorham before heading to the job site. Responsibilities Perform paving tasks for commercial properties and non-highway roadways. Collaborate with the team to complete projects efficiently. Meet at the designated office location before moving to the job site. Essential Skills At least 1 to 2 years of experience in paving labor. Strong mechanical ability. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 70 pounds. Willingness to work up to 10 hours per day during peak season. Additional Skills & Qualifications Commercial paving experience is highly preferred. Experience with commercial sidewalks and paving. Willingness to learn and grow with the company. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work involves outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Employees are expected to adhere to a standard dress code suitable for construction environments. The role requires meeting at the Gorham office and traveling to job sites, with physical tasks involved. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gorham, Maine. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
