Maintenance Finish Carpenter

The Finish Carpenter/Maintenance Mechanic#performs construction and renovation hospital-wide, and performs preventive and corrective maintenance on all non-medical equipment related to the carpenter shop. Performs rounds of the facility daily. Performs preventive # corrective maintenance on all non medical equipment and systems hospital wide. Responsible for keeping a daily record of jobs, time, and material used. Take call during off- hours on a scheduled basis to ensure the integrity of the facility.# # QUALIFICATIONS #EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Needs a working knowledge of finish carpentry skills including: framing, dry wall work, ceramic tile, counter tops, painting, mill work, and minor electrical and plumbing. Needs a working knowledgeof maintenance mecahnic works and repairs.# Must have the ability to read, write and understand written and verbal instructions. LICENSE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATION: Current valid Kansas Driver#s License with no restrictions on driving. EXPERIENCE: Previous finish carpentry experience required. Previous maintenance experience preferred.#
