What will you do?

Our assistant preconstruction estimators are responsible for the front-end work that we prep before beginning a project. Your goal is to accurately project the realistic costs of a job, while making sure that you keep costs low and maximize profits-all while maintaining strong business integrity. You will communicate with our customers and all parties involved in the project process to maintain strong relationships. Success in this role will come from someone who's comfortable multitasking and bouncing between data for different projects. You must be analytical, comfortable in different online platforms and detail oriented. The data you provide will be placed in proposals and communicated to a wide variety of people. You will also communicate with other departments at Cooper Steel and you must be flexible, as things can change quickly and frequently.

What do you need?

Bachelor's Degree

2-5 years of related experience in the construction industry
