Overview ACS Professional Staffing is searching for a Mechanical Engineer (EIT) for our client, a professional engineering and architectural firm delivering full-service design solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects including office buildings, schools, multifamily residences, hotels, restaurants, banks, and retail spaces. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, clients, contractors, and vendors to bring innovative projects to life. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA. Pay Rate: $71,244 - $100,000 Benefits: Company Paid Health Plan with Optional Plans Company Paid Dental, Vision, Life & Disability 5% 401(k) Match Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Health Club Reimbursement Costco Reimbursement Holiday and Paid Time Off Responsibilities Support senior engineers throughout design and construction Identify and solve problems with relevant and constructable solutions Develop and design HVAC and plumbing concepts, systems, drawings, and specifications in a multidisciplinary team environment Coordinate with external suppliers, internal design teams, and manufacturers Select and schedule major equipment Use software packages to calculate building loads including heating, cooling, ventilation, and plumbing systems Respond to contractors during construction Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university Successfully passed the FE exam and possess EIT Certification Minimum of 2 years relevant design experience with building mechanical systems Autodesk Revit Mechanical drafting experience Organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team Work sponsorship is not available at this time.
