Production Welder
Location: Pontiac, IL
Pay Range: 20.00
1st shift: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Semi-automatic and manual MIG welding of frames, fixtures, beams end plates and other miscellaneous metal/steel parts Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools Process and complete inspection, certification and documentation Conduct welding equipment maintenance Make adjustments to fixtures and welding equipment as required to produce a quality product
Able to pass the company's weld test Demonstrated proficiency in assigned welding techniques Understanding and interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirements and blueprints Knowledge of safe work habits within industrial/manufacturing environment.
