un Project Manager (Canoga Park) compensation: DOE employment type: job title: Project Manager Reputable Finish Carpentry and Design company seeks Project Manager with finish carpentry experience for immediate hire! This position is for full-time work for the right candidates. We are looking for self-starters and team players. Responsibilities include: Material Ordering - Review project proposal and order material accordingly; review Purchase Orders from vendors; and follow up on material orders Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones Weekly project scheduling Create change orders for projects as needed Draw detail sketches and specifications Coordinate with Estimator to review plan take-offs for accuracy Requirements: Minimum 2 years field installation and 1 year project coordinator experience AutoCAD Drafting experience, a plus! Must be able to read and understand construction plans and finish schedules Computer literate. Experience with Excel, Google Drive and Adobe a plus! Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards Understanding of all facets of the construction process Ability to plan and see the big picture BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or equivalent work experience a plus!
