Our team is growing, and we are looking for a reliable Steel Fabricator / Material Processor to join our shop. Position Overview: The Steel Fabricator / Material Processor is responsible for preparing, cutting, and processing structural steel materials for fabrication and assembly. This role involves operating shop equipment, reading drawings, and ensuring that materials are prepared accurately and safely for production. Responsibilities: Measure, cut, grind, and prepare structural steel materials. Operate shop equipment such as saws, torches, grinders, and forklifts. Follow work orders, drawings, and shop instructions to process material. Assist in staging and organizing steel for fabrication. Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company safety standards. Inspect processed materials for accuracy and quality before moving into production. Qualifications: Previous experience in steel fabrication, processing, or construction shop environment preferred. Ability to read and follow blueprints and shop drawings. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Forklift experience a plus (training available if needed). Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
