Purpose of the Job

In charge to support the Construction manager in his track activities in the Track Green Line - LRT Project

Involvement in the production and delivery of the QCD objectives of the Trackwork Construction and Ensure with the support of the HSE supervisor a Safe Workplace through the strict application of our HSE procedures.

In charge of Superintendent. Mentoring.

Responsibilities

Under the responsibility of the Construction Manager,

  • Organise and manage track construction in conformity with the details design, the planning and the QA/QC system in Depot Holon & Herzliya.
  • Participate to the preparation of the Baseline Programme and other related schedules and subsequently to implement the activities accordingly and report on the progress
  • During the installation, define, recruit, purchase and follow up the necessary resources, means and material.
  • Ensure that qualified, competent and well trained personnel are assigned to their discipline
  • Participate in the construction point of view, to the analysis of any Contractual issue (VO, Claims) .
  • Co-ordinate with the Logistic Manager for the implementation of the TW construction needs
  • Participate to the handing over process
  • Liaise with the Interface Manager (about various civil contractors works and other third parties works) to facilitate the work progress
  • Facilitate and actively participate to the Return of Experience

Performance Measurement/KPI's

  • Management and follow up to the Trackwork Construction & Tests activities.
  • Client complaints follow-up
  • Progress reports
  • Optimisation of Workmanship

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, Power Point,...)
  • Driving license A

Desirable:

Engineering / University degree

Knowledge of Quality codes & standards

Experience

Mandatory:

  • Supervision of the site and workforce teams
  • Supervision of subcontractors for machine maintenance
  • Track construction .
  • Knowledge of railway track laying, particularly track on concrete slab

Desirable:

  • Knowledge in Track on Pits / Embedded / IRJ /ERJ, Etc.
  • Knowledge of construction sites (organization, interfaces, specialties such as topography or logistics)

  • Leadership, initiative and decision minded
  • Team spirit approach and good communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of English
