We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Civil Engineer with a proven track record in large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects within the metals and minerals sector. The successful candidate will lead civil engineering execution, providing technical direction and oversight across design, procurement, and construction phases for world-class smelters, refineries, and industrial plants.

Senior/Lead Civil Engineer Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and technical authority for civil/structural engineering across multi-billion-dollar EPC projects.
- Oversee preparation, review, and approval of engineering deliverables including designs, calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
- Drive coordination with multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Manage subcontractors and consultants, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule compliance.
- Serve as primary civil engineering interface with clients and stakeholders.
- Lead resolution of technical issues during construction, installation, and commissioning.
- Ensure the highest standards of HSE, constructability, and quality across all civil works.
Senior/Lead Civil Engineer Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 15+ years' experience in civil/structural engineering, with at least 8 years leading EPC projects in the metals/minerals sector.
- Expertise in foundations, concrete and steel structures, heavy industrial earthworks, and geotechnical design.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, Tekla Structures or similar.
- Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
Senior/Lead Civil Engineer Physical Demands
- Primarily office-based with extended computer use.
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Periodic site visits may expose the employee to noise, dust, weather conditions, and construction hazards.
- Personal protective equipment may be required during site visits.
