Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team. The role involves site travel across all five boroughs, conducting inspections and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites across all five boroughs according to client needs.
• Conduct field inspections and complete reports remotely.
• Prepare detailed field reports, inspection logs, and photographic documentation; submit findings to clients and internal teams.
• Perform TPP inspections with company-provided training and support.
• Collaborate with contractors, architects, and project managers to resolve field issues and maintain project timelines.
• Monitor construction activities for quality control, including concrete testing, structural inspections, and materials verification.
• Assist in reviewing permits, drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment with field conditions.
• Identify and troubleshoot on-site issues, recommending corrective actions and coordinating with stakeholders for resolution.

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Civil or structural engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience in the field

• ACI certification (advantageous)
• NICET certification (advantageous)

The position involves a flexible work schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM to accommodate field reporting. This is not an office-based role, and you will be traveling within the NYC area. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $76.92/hr.
