Electrical Technician

Our client, a leader in the robotics and automation industry, is seeking an Electrical Technician to join their team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing team supporting innovative robotic systems. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Electrical Technician

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Range: $25 - $30 per hour

Shift: 8:00am 4:00pm or 11:00am - 10:00pm

What's the Job?

• Perform functional and end-of-line testing for robotic systems and subsystems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Assist in assembly, integration, and maintenance of robotic platforms and test stations.
• Build and assemble custom cable harnesses following schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Maintain accurate records of builds, repairs, and test procedures in accordance with company standards.

What's Needed?

• 3+ years of experience in electrical assembly, testing, or a similar technical field.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with cable harness assembly and electrical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with robotic systems or mechatronic assemblies.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification for cable harness assembly is preferred.
