Project Manager (Architect/Engineer/Construction Management) - Major Federal Facilities Projects | USPS

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager (Architect/Engineer/Construction Management) to lead major design and construction projects for the U.S. Postal Service's Facilities Design & Construction organization. This is a high-visibility role where your technical leadership will directly influence the success of nationwide infrastructure projects.

Work Locations: Denver, CO or Plano, TX

What You'll Do

  • Manage large-scale construction projects-ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to USPS standards.

  • Oversee contractors, architects, engineers, and vendors while providing technical guidance and problem-solving support.

  • Lead feasibility studies, cost analyses, and risk assessments to drive efficient project decisions.

  • Draft and review RFPs, technical specifications, and drawings; evaluate bids for compliance and accuracy.

  • Conduct inspections and lead project meetings (preconstruction, progress, final acceptance) to ensure adherence to scope and contract requirements.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical), or Construction Management (ABET-accredited programs preferred).

  • 3-7 years' experience in commercial construction project management, with a strong preference for major building construction.

  • Skilled in MS Project (or other PM software), MS Office Suite, and virtual collaboration platforms (Zoom, MS Teams).

  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Flexibility to travel and adjust to dynamic project demands.

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (background check and drug test required).
