City Engineer - Engineering Division Manager

The City of Brooklyn Park is seeking an experienced City Engineer to lead the Engineering Division within the Operations & Maintenance Department. This position is responsible for managing the design, construction, and inspection of public and private infrastructure, capital projects, water resources, and long-range planning. The City Engineer also plays a key role in securing external funding, overseeing major county and state infrastructure projects, and guiding a team of nine professionals.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

Five (5) years of experience in municipal infrastructure and three (3) years supervising technical staff

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Minnesota or ability to obtain within six (6) months

Valid driver's license
