We are seeking an experienced Civil Concrete Foreman to lead field crews on a variety of sitework concrete projects, including sidewalks, curbs, driveways, inlets, and drainage structures. This hands-on leadership role ensures that work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of 3-10-person concrete crews
Interpret civil plans, elevations, and detail sheets to ensure accurate layout
Direct form setting, concrete placement, finishing, and stripping
Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors
Monitor crew productivity, material usage, and jobsite safety
Ensure proper installation of ADA ramps, inlets, curbs, box culverts, and other structures
Maintain accurate daily field logs and production records
Help train and develop crew members on tasks and safety procedures
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in civil or site concrete construction
Strong understanding of formwork, layout, and grade setting
Ability to read and understand civil construction plans
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Ability to lead by example and maintain a productive work environment
Knowledge of OSHA safety practices and ability to enforce them on site
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with TXDOT or municipal work
Familiarity with laser levels and string line setup
Ability to manage multiple small crews or projects when needed
CDL license a plus but not required
Compensation & Benefits:
