Solect is currently looking for a full-time Sales Development Representative located in one of the following states (ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT). The main responsibility will be to identify and qualify potential new customers through phone and email outreach. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely or from our headquarters in Hopkinton, MA. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, articulate, engaging, and focused on acquiring new clients. Responsibilities

General Summary

Solect is currently seeking a full time Journeyman Electrician physically located in our headquarters in Hopkinton, MA. This role is an integral member of the service and maintenance team, which is responsible for maintaining and inspecting commercial/industrial solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The candidate must demonstrate strong customer communication skills, be self-driven and independent with a passion for the solar industry. Must be able to manage a large number volume of projects while demonstrating excellent quality work. Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, inverters, panels, and circuits. Provide leadership to apprentice electricians.

Tracing out short circuits in wiring.

Thermal imaging use as a tool to identify solar array issues. Working consistently in a safe and effective manner.

Maintaining tools, vehicles, and equipment. Keeping parts and supplies in order.

Accurate and effective communication, both verbal and written to document findings and requirements. Learning and using software to aid in project management and documentation.

Qualifications Desired Skills & Experience Essential Requirements:
  • Valid journeyman electrician license in good standing, with a clean driving record and a valid state drivers license..
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively within a team environment.
  • Willingness and ability to walk on a customers property, including varied terrain and rooftops.
  • Capacity to work in extreme conditions such as heat, snow, rain, and wind.
  • Willingness and ability to climb ladders, stairs, and work on rooftops.
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete tasks.
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the workday.
  • Excellent customer service skills, maintaining a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude.
Preferred Requirements:

Knowledge and understanding of Solar PV Basics, Fundamentals and Troubleshooting OSHA10 Certification

NABCEP Certification a BIG plus

  • Willingness and excitement to learn.

The expected starting pay range for this role is $70,0000 - $99,000 USD. This range is an estimate, and base pay may vary above or below these amounts based on several factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Patterns compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees at all levels. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance, voluntary benefits, family care benefits, an employee assistance program, paid time off and bonding leave, paid holidays, a 401(k)/RRSP retirement savings plan with employer contributions, and employee referral bonuses.
