Duties, Responsibilities & Other

The Landscape Architect in Training will assist in the design and development of landscape and irrigation projects. The Landscape Architect in Training will work under the guidance of senior staff, contributing to various aspects of project execution.

Skills:

  • At least 1 year experience in Multidisciplinary firm setting preferred
  • Proficient in CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and related 3d rendering software
  • Well organized
  • Able to manage schedules
  • Excellent communication skills written, oral, graphic and interpersonal
  • Ambitious person looking to excel in the field of landscape architecture

Degrees/Licenses:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program

Duties:

  • Production of projects from design development through construction documents
  • Managing multiple projects
  • Preparing landscape and irrigation plans
  • Producing presentation and design graphics
  • Perform field inspections and write observation reports
  • Work closely with project team members, clients and agencies to maintain project schedules and resolve project issues

Other:

Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Required: Bachelors degree in landscape architecture from an accredited program. 0-2 years of experience in related field.

Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Preferred: Additional industry certifications
