About the Role
TEKsystems is hiring two experienced Project Managers to support a long-term broadband infrastructure initiative. These roles will serve as strategic liaisons between the Design Engineering and Construction teams, ensuring alignment, communication, and timely execution across all phases of the project.
This is a leadership-focused role ideal for professionals who have previously served as Design Managers supporting broadband programs. You will manage the design process, not perform the designs yourself, and will be responsible for coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive progress on mid-split upgrades and HFC span enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the design funnel: Track incoming design requests, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of design packages.
- Liaise between design and construction teams: Ensure both sides are aligned on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders: Work closely with engineering, operations, permitting, and leadership teams to maintain project momentum.
- Vendor management: Partner with external design and construction vendors to ensure quality and timely execution.
- Reporting and documentation: Provide regular status updates, maintain project documentation, and escalate issues as needed.
- Support permitting and make-ready processes: Ensure all pre-construction requirements are met and tracked.
- Strategic planning: Contribute to project strategy, milestone planning, and risk mitigation efforts.
- Leadership support: Take ownership of key initiatives to relieve workload from senior leadership.
Required Skills
- Proven leadership experience in broadband infrastructure projects.
- Prior experience as a Design Manager or in a similar role overseeing network design initiatives.
- Strong understanding of OSP (Outside Plant) design principles and construction workflows.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, coaxial cable systems, and HFC architecture.
- Experience managing large-scale network upgrades or deployments.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with right-of-way coordination and permitting processes.
- Background in CATV or telecom infrastructure.
- Familiarity with mid-split technology and hybrid fiber-coaxial networks.
- Prior experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
