Test Engineering Technician
Job Description

Perform environmental testing on spaceflight hardware and inspect mechanical and electrical components. Assist in writing technical work instructions while adhering to the quality management system AS9100.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental testing on spaceflight hardware.
  • Inspect mechanical and electrical components for quality assurance.
  • Assist in the development and writing of technical work instructions.
  • Adhere to the AS9100 quality management system standards.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with environmental testing techniques such as static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration.
  • Proficiency with inspection tools including torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 quality management system.
  • Ability to write and interpret technical work instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in the aerospace industry is preferred.
Work Environment

The role is based in a manufacturing environment located in Longmont, CO, also known as the RF Center of Excellence. This site focuses on RF-related applications and supports space applications, including the Falccon Broadband Space Antenna project. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Longmont, Colorado.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $44.00/hr.
