Note: The hourly rate for this position is $28 - $31 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

• Accurately measure wall and ceiling spaces and cut drywall panels to fit.
• Secure drywall sheets to wall studs and ceiling joists using screws or nails.
• Use mechanical lifts or work in teams to position drywall on ceilings or high walls.
• Cut openings for electrical outlets, light switches, and other fixtures.
• Check wall and ceiling framing for proper spacing and alignment before installation.
• Apply joint tape to seams between drywall panels.
• Spread compound over taped seams, screw holes, and corners to create a smooth surface.
• Apply additional coats of compound as needed for a seamless finish, sanding between coats.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a drywall hanger and/or finisher.
• Familiarity with residential construction standards.
• Own tools and transportation preferred.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
