Job Description
We are seeking skilled welders proficient in MIG and flux-core welding with the ability to read blueprints, lay out parts, and fit up components. Candidates with weld certifications will have an added advantage.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG and flux-core welding.
Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Lay out and fit up parts according to specifications.
Conduct typical weld tests including a two F single pass and triple pass 5/16 using hard wire and flux core materials.
Pass a written test covering weld symbols, tape measure usage, and weld deformities.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in MIG welding within a fabrication shop setting.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Experience in fitting up parts and structural welding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Weld schooling may compensate for 1 year of experience.
Prior experience with structural steel is a plus.
Possession of weld certifications is advantageous.

Work Environment
Our fabrication/weld shop offers a structured environment with first shift hours from 5:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday, with the possibility to start between 5:00am and 7:00am. Second shift runs from 2:45pm to 1:45am, Monday through Thursday. A shift differential of $1.00 is provided. The role requires mandatory 45 hours per week, with up to 55 hours available if desired. PPE and tools such as framing squares, tape measures, and steel-toed boots are required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
