The Role: We are seeking a Lead Engineering Architect - IT Cloud Solutions to define and deliver our enterprise cloud strategy. This position blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution, requiring deep expertise in Azure, DevOps, CI/CD, and observability, along with experience engaging in large-scale Databricks and SAP ERP deployments. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of integrating enterprise applications into modern cloud architectures and ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions that drive measurable business value. Core Responsibilities: Define and Deliver the Roadmap: Develop and execute a business-aligned cloud solutions roadmap with clear, measurable outcomes. Hands-On Engineering: Architect, build, and troubleshoot solutions to maintain momentum on high-priority initiatives. Advance DevOps Practices: Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to enhance delivery speed, reliability, and quality. Lead Cloud Architecture: Apply deep Azure expertise to create scalable, secure, and cost-effective enterprise solutions. Data Platform Engagement: Collaborate with data engineering teams on large-scale Databricks deployments to ensure seamless integration, optimal performance, and robust security. ERP Integration Leadership: Partner with application and SAP teams to design, implement, and optimize integrations between SAP ERP systems and the cloud environment. Enable Observability: Establish comprehensive monitoring and alerting frameworks to maximize reliability, performance, and system visibility. Collaborate and Influence: Partner with development, operations, and leadership teams to ensure alignment with best practices and adoption of strategic initiatives. Deliver Business Value: Keep efforts focused on outcomes that advance organizational goals and deliver tangible benefits. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience 10+ years in IT engineering and architecture roles within enterprise-scale environments. Proven track record of delivering large-scale solutions in a Fortune 500 or similarly complex enterprise. Advanced, hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, networking, and security). Experience collaborating with and supporting enterprise Databricks and SAP ERP deployments (architecture engagement, integration design, governance alignment). Strong DevOps and CI/CD skills (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.). Experience designing and implementing monitoring and observability solutions (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Splunk, etc.). Ability to translate strategic business objectives into practical, executable technical solutions. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates). Familiarity with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, AKS). Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business teams. Why Join Us?
