Crane Operator

Crane Operator Job Description Operate friction, cable, and hydraulic cranes to successfully transfer cargo from vessels to shore. This role involves maintaining and repairing cranes, coordinating with vessel personnel, and completing required documentation for cargo transfers. Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate waterside cranes to discharge cargo from vessels to shore. Maintain and repair cranes as trained and instructed. Effectively coordinate with vessel personnel for cargo transfers. Complete required documents and reports related to cargo transfer. Participate in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of cranes and related equipment. Perform general duties in all areas of terminal operations as needed. Undergo refresher training in maintenance, operations, safety, and environmental requirements. Ensure housekeeping and general maintenance tasks are completed. Perform any other terminal functions as instructed by the supervisor. Essential Skills Experience in machine and crane operation. Familiarity with production and heavy industry environments. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Capability to work at heights up to 80 feet. Aptitude to execute and maintain necessary records. Ability to work effectively within a team and take direction from supervisors. Focus on attention to detail and adherence to work rules. Additional Skills & Qualifications Willingness to work overtime, weekends, nights, and some holidays as needed. Why Work Here?
