Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate all phases of our metal and glass projects, from planning and scheduling through installation and completion. The ideal candidate will have strong construction management experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to keep complex projects on track.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage projects from contract award through closeout, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Serve as the primary liaison between clients, architects, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
Oversee shop drawings, submittals, and approvals in coordination with engineering and drafting teams.
Coordinate fabrication and installation activities to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
Identify and resolve project issues proactively, mitigating risks and delays.
Prepare and present project status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of project management experience in construction, preferably with metal, glass, or facade systems.
Strong understanding of fabrication, installation, and construction sequencing.
Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Autocad, Sage).
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
