Lead Custom Cabinet Maker

Citizen Millworks, a division of Citizen Builders, is seeking a Lead Custom Cabinet Maker to join our growing team. Citizen Builders is known for high-end residential projects, and our cabinet division focuses exclusively on high-end custom cabinetry . We already have hundreds of thousands of dollars in projects lined up , our new shop is nearly complete with everything needed to hit the ground running, and there is tremendous opportunity for growth as we expand. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to help shape the future of a new shop.

• Lead the cabinet production process from start to finish: cutting, assembly, finishing, and installation
• Read and interpret architectural and shop drawings with precision
• Oversee quality control to ensure all work meets high-end standards
• Train and mentor junior team members
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, and installers for accuracy and deadlines
• Maintain woodworking machinery and tools
• Troubleshoot design and build challenges on custom pieces

• 5+ years of experience in high-end custom cabinetry or millwork
• Mastery of woodworking techniques, joinery, and finishing
• Strong knowledge of cabinet hardware, materials, and construction methods
• Leadership experience (crew lead, foreman, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with CNC, CAD/CAM, or cabinet software a plus
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to craftsmanship

• Pay: $28$38/hour , depending on experience and leadership ability
• Full-time position with opportunity for overtime
