Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Help Wanted:
Experienced heavy equipment mechanic at a water well-drilling company. You will be one of three mechanics on-site and must not require training, as this is not an apprenticeship. We need an experienced, meticulous mechanic who takes pride in their work and can jump right in.

Responsibilities:
-Repair a wide range of vehicles, equipment, and trailers such as Case and John Deere equipment, Kenworths, Peterbilts, Internationals, Dodges, Chevys, Towmaster trailers, etc.
-Adapt in a work environment with needs that change daily.
-Work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision
-Repair rigs and equipment related to well-drilling such as Paystars, Midways, Pulstars, Smeals, Sullair air compressors, Onan welders, etc.
-Report any and all issues to appropriate parties
-Work 40hours/week with occasional overtime
-Bring and use your own set of tools and be able to drive/operate what you work on

Minimum Qualifications:
-Experience with engine and transmission overhauls
-Well-rounded experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems within a wide range of truck and equipment

Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with engine and transmission overhauls
-Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems within a wide range of truck and equipment types
-Familiarity with well-drilling rigs and equipment
-Welding/machining/fabricating experience a plus
-DOT Inspection certification
-Ability to bring your own tools
