Summary:

The candidate will either lead or support all areas of the team's responsibilities, including:

Ensure reliable operation of toner manufacturing equipment, including proper set up and calibration of components

Provide expertise in electrical systems, electrical drawings, and controls.

Modify/upgrade electrical components/controls to improve productivity and ensure product quality

Trouble-shoot issues, and improve/develop production processing equipment utilizing a hands-on approach

Pay:

  • $34.20/hour plus generous differentials and overtime available

Schedule:

Monday through Friday - B or C shift - overtime available

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for inspecting, repairing, relocating, replacing, installing, adjusting, and wiring all electric equipment, apparatus, fixtures and circuits below 600volts.
  • Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Facilities, and Maintenance personnel to understand process problems and/or requirements. Communicate regularly to facilitate implementation of solutions with minimal impact to plant operations
  • Lead or assist with problem-solving and cost down activities for both processing and equipment-related issues.
  • Provide timely response to manufacturing personnel when process deviations or out-of-specification materials occur.
  • Monitor process performance, and facilitate repairs, improvements and upgrades.
  • Flexible working hours may be required for supporting plant operations and manufacturing trials.

Qualifications:

  • Four years of a state certified apprenticeship and four years of industrial certified experience -OR-
  • Eight years of industrial certified experience -OR-
  • Two years of an Electrical Technologist Degree (AS/AAS) and six years of industrial certified experience.

Additional Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong electrical skillset, including reading schematics and P&ID's
  • Experience in systems and or process controls desired
  • Familiar in electrical safety and electrical design standards
  • Experience with process instrumentation is desired [sensors, transmitters] [calibration and troubleshooting
  • Mechanical aptitude, manufacturing support and/or scale-up experience desired
  • Strong work ethic and team-oriented skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
