We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipefitter/Plumber to join our team at Colorado Mechanical Systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record that is involved in working with hydronic piping systems including steel and copper installations, boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and coil connections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific safety procedures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and requirements for piping systems.
- Install and maintain hydronic piping systems including steel and copper.
- Measure, cut, threat, groove, bend, and weld pipes to required specifications.
- Perform coil connections and other related tasks
- Install sanitary systems, water systems, fuel systems, fixtures and equipment.
- Collaborate with Superintendents, Project Managers, Foreman, and other trades to ensure efficient project execution.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial or industrial pipefitting experience with a mechanical contractor.
- Ability to work under direct supervision and work collaboratively with a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Certifications:
- OSHA 10/30, welding certifications, and other industry credentials are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs., work at heights, and in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work in confined spaces as needed.
Compensation/Benefits:
- $30.00-$45.00/hr. depending on skill and experience
