We're Hiring: Commercial Roofing Construction Manager (Floater) - North Carolina
Highland Roofing is growing, and we're on the lookout for a hands-on, experienced Construction Manager to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and is open to traveling across our service areas in North Carolina (Wilmington/Raleigh/Charlotte). You'll work closely with our project managers and subcontractors to keep commercial roofing projects running smoothly-from start to finish.
At Highland, we treat our team like family. That means we take care of the things that matter most:
- Competitive pay + bonus opportunities
- Company-wide profit-sharing
- Take-home company truck
- Paid holidays and PTO for real work/life balance
- Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life insurance)
- 401(k) with company match
- Room to grow as we continue to expand
What You'll Be Doing:
- Keep an eye on job sites to make sure everything's safe and up to spec
- Be the go-to person for crews and help delegate tasks to keep things moving
- Order and schedule labor, materials, and equipment after the project manager's initial setup
- Stay on top of inventory so we don't run into delays
- Solve problems on-site with GCs and crews-within scope and budget
- Make sure safety is always a top priority
What We're Looking For:
- Solid experience with low-slope roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, metal). Shingles are a bonus!
- At least 3 years in a construction manager or superintendent role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Self-starter who can manage time and priorities independently
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and doing physical tasks
- Good with numbers-especially for material calculations
- Organized, adaptable, and ready to juggle multiple projects
